That Holloway KO still has me rattled a whole day later.

That Max knockout was beautifully brutal. I picked Holloway to win even though he was the underdog, I was sure that he could out strike Justin to a decision, which he was probably one second away from doing 3-2. I didn’t expect him to put Justin to sleep like that though. Happy for Max and hope he goes back to FW to fight for the title next.

Arman definitely beat Charles, the decision shouldn’t have been split. I said Arman would win the striking, including the stand up striking, and I was right. He won the 2nd and 3rd easy. You can’t submit someone with a d’arce choke in that position, Charles would’ve had to roll or wrap his legs to get power, but then he could’ve lost the position. Yes, Charles laid and prayed while Arman outstruck him, the opposite of what Arman’s haters said would happen. I don’t think Charles should’ve won the 1st either, because he fouled twice (headbutt and kick down opponent) and just got a warning twice. I don’t think a point should’ve been taken, but the fouling fighter shouldn’t be awarded the round either. The fight did resume with Arman back on top, but he lost the ground and pound momentum. It could’ve been similar to round 2 without the illegal kick.

It was a big surprise seeing Moicano knock Turner out. I thought he could win 2 and 3 for a decision if he survived the first, but didn’t expect a dominant finish like that. Happy to be proven wrong, and will not underestimate Moicano again.

That was a disappointing showing by Kattar. He went from almost never getting taken down to taken down 8 times, so props to Sterling for that. But Kattar looked so lost standing too. It was wrong to expect the Kattar that fought Holloway to show up, but I did think the long lay off would be good for him.

If Bo does not fight someone in the MW top 15 next, he should get lost.

Hope Jiri and Kayla fight for the title soon, great performances.

Pretty sure Yan’s corner made her inhale some drug after she got choked out. But it didn’t make a difference. She gave Zhang a great fight in any case.

I changed my prediction on the main event one day before because of the Drake curse lol. But I was on the fence because I thought Hill would have success grappling. Guess he kept his promise to stand with Pereira, for all the good that genius plan did.

I’m just happy that my boys Max and Arman won. I did not review any other fights as closely as theirs.

if they make Oliveira vs Gamrot, I don't see Gamrot wining

Agreed, I think olives wins a gamrot and a Gaethje 2 matchup. Can’t see him beating anyone that can nullify him from top position tho. (Which is prob exclusively arman and islam)

Why do you think Gamrot wouldn't win based on top control? The judges gave him the win vs Arman based on his wrestling, Arman clearly won according to damage inflicted but it was one of those matches the judges suddenly put on wrestling shoes and ignored the scoring criteria. Gamrot proved he had better wrestling control than Arman (at least at the time).

I don't think Gamrot would win vs Olives but that it would be because he is so much worse at striking than Arman that the striking gap would be big enough for Olives to exploit.
